Sonic (OGz 35th Anniversary)

Overview

The Sonic the Hedgehog™ 35th Anniversary OGz is a Pop Magnet Collectible from FiGGYZ in a retro style aimed at longtime fans. The legendary blue blur races into a monumental milestone with a confident smirk and a trademark thumbs-up, ready to sprint toward unlimited possibilities. The magnetised figure snaps onto a tall, portrait-format reversible metal backdrop and comes with a display base.

Design & Features

• Sculpt: Sonic in a leaping pose with one hand raised in a thumbs-up and one leg kicked back, showing his swept quills, confident smirk, white gloves and red sneakers with gold buckles
• Materials: Magnetised figure raised off the surface on MagMounts for a 3D pop-out effect, with a reversible metal backdrop, a display base for shelves, and a magnetic sticker for mounting on any vertical surface
• Contrast: One side of the backdrop is deep blue with “UNLIMITED POSSIBILITIES” running down it in large lettering, scattered Chaos Emeralds and the 35th Anniversary logo. The other side shows a Green Hill Zone scene with a waterfall, blue sky and checkered ground.
• Size: The figure measures approximately 3.3 inches tall
• Extras: Randomly packed Chase Backgrounds in three tiers, Gold (1%), Silver (3%) and Bronze (6%), and a code or QR on the back for adding the figure to a collection in the free FiGGYZ app

Why It Stands Out

The OGz edition swaps the square pixel-art format for a slimmer vertical display and a retro look, so it reads differently on a shelf from the Modern Sonic and McLaren Racing editions in the same 35th Anniversary release. The two-sided backdrop gives two display options, and it can stand on its base or mount on a wall, fridge or locker. It comes in a window display box that suits both collectors and casual fans.
